My Handbag Essentials

I picked up this little blue pouch on a holiday in France a few years ago and it comes with me every day. I use this for my go-to everyday essentials. I thought I'd run through what I keep with me daily, besides my wallet, phone and keys.

March Favourites

March didn’t hang about and we’re already a quarter of the way through 2016. Crazy! I’ve spent the first half of the month at university and the second half at home – two very different lifestyles. Here are a few of my favourite things to round off the month.

What I've Learnt So Far...

I know I’m only 19 and I’ve still got a lot to learn, but there are a few things I’ve learnt over the past few years and I thought there’s no harm in sharing. I’m not really one for sticking to New Year Resolutions, I’ll happily make them and feel really proud of myself for trying to make a difference but by the second week of January they’re all but forgotten. So instead I thought I’d reminisce in the hopes it will have a positive effect in the future.

Blogging Blues

I haven’t written on my blog since September, it’s been a long time and things have been quite hectic. I just seemed to lose my mojo, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to write about or if I’d have enough to write a whole post.

Hello September: Part 1

My First Festival

Most people love festivals. You're considered crazy if you don't. I'd never been to one until this month, but I decided (slightly reluctantly) that now would be a good time to give it a go. I chose to go to Bestival, on the Isle of Wight at the start of September with Oxfam (link here).

My University Tips & Tricks

Bournemouth Beach Sunset
I'm starting my second year at university and I thought I'd share some of the things I've learnt in my first year. Firstly I will say that my university is an Arts University - meaning I don't have any exams, I'm assessed continuously over the 3 years. Personally I prefer this approach, I've never been great at exams and always felt overshadowed by A* grade friends.

Hello August: Part 2

In this post I'm going to tell you guys about some of the things I've been up to in August and maybe you could get some ideas or a bit of inspiration of your own. August has been a bit of a hectic month, it always feels like it goes by so quickly and before you know it you're back in work.

Who I'm Loving on YouTube

When I started writing this post I got a bit of writers block – I don’t know whether it’s because I‘m on holiday or because I didn’t want this post to sound like a school report. So I’m going to try and keep this short and sweet…

August Haul 2

The Muddled Mojito - August Haul
I bought a few other things this month that aren't beauty related - a new book and my new phone case. All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven (a recommendation by Zoella) should be a great summer read. The story follows 2 main characters, Finch and Theodore and is described as an intense and gripping novel. It also has great reviews so I thought I'd give it a go and I'll let you know how I get on.

August Haul 1

The Muddled Mojito - August Haul
The summer sales have been really good this year, so I've tried to make the most of them and I think I've done pretty well. I managed to pick up some great bargains that I've been eyeing up for a few months, but I think I'll do a separate clothing haul.

Feminism: Part 1

Emma Watson
‘Feminism is a range of movements and ideologies that share a common goal: to define, establish, and achieve equal political, economic, cultural, personal, and social rights for women. This includes seeking to establish equal opportunities for women in education and employment.’

A Bucket List to Boot

My Bucket List - A picture paints a thousand words...
Some people might have it written down in a notebook, others might just have a mental note but I'm pretty sure in some way or other everyone has some sort of bucket list. I think it's fun to make one, it gets me all excited when I think about all the cool things I could do. So, I thought I'd share some of my favourite ideas and if any of you have any cool ideas I'd love to read them in the comments.

Hello August: Part 1

August has only just started but so far, I'd say it's gone well. August is that time in the summer when you realize how quickly the holidays have actually gone. Now that July's over you've only got 1 month left before it's back to the daily grind. So baring that in mind I feel that August is my most productive month of the holidays and I'm looking forward to what's to come.

My Summer Reading List

The Summer is the perfect time to get some reading done. I find that reading is the perfect stress relief, it gives you the chance to stop thinking and lets your mind be completely empty. It's great if you're feeling a little bit stressed or maybe just have a few too many things on your mind.
